







Severely Or Profoundly Deaf
You qualify for Scotland-Wide Free Bus Travel if you are profoundly or severely deaf.
You will need a letter from an Audiologist, Hospital Consultant or the North East Sensory Services confirming the above.
Your letter must state that you have bilateral hearing loss greater than or equal to 70dBHLs averaged over 1, 2 and 4KHz.
If you have been profoundly deaf since birth, a letter from your GP confirming this can be accepted instead of the above.
