Apply for an Accord Card under the Residents Discount Scheme in person

The easiest way to apply for an Accord Card under the Residents Discount Scheme (the scheme) is online however if you prefer to apply for your card in person, there are various libraries across the City that offer application service.

Just ask a member of staff and please make sure that you bring a supporting document with you to verify your address and identity.

Supporting document

Supporting documents must be originals (photocopies are not acceptable) and your application cannot be processed without a supporting document. Documents acceptable are:

  • Council Tax bill for the current year
  • Utility Bill such as Gas, Electricity, landline telephone (dated within the 3 three months)
  • Bank Statement (dated within last three months)
  • Photo Driving Licence
  • Television Licence for current year

 How does application in person work?

During the application process, your identity and address will be verified and your photo, which will be printed on your Accord Card, will be captured.

If you apply at a library you will be given a reference number and be shown to a computer where you can complete your application online.

Once your application has been processed, your Accord Card will be posted to you within 2 weeks and you can start using it straight away.
